One
of the skills we use every day in the production of
our graphics and imagery is that of Photo Retouching
(or digital image manipulation), commonly known as
"Photoshopping" after the popular software
package. In all the examples below the original is
shown first! - Mouse over to see the transformation,
click to get a closer view.

The first image
above demonstrates a simple text retouch of an old
padlock. The image was used on the cover of the last
programme for the Scarlets
at Stradey Park. Mouse over the image to see the enhancements
made or click to see a larger version.

This can be as simple
as the removal of blemishes from a face (below) or
brightening of teeth and eyes, to removing unsightly
shadows, people or objects that spoil the look of an
image. Mouse over the images to see the enhancements
made or click to see a larger version.

We can convincingly
combine photographs as in the example below which
uses a new photograph merged into an old (in this
case representing the players of history passing
the ball on to the new generation). Mouse over the
image below to see the enhancements made or click
to see a larger version.

We can also effectively
restore damaged photographs - old or new, digitally
repairing tears, folds or removing scratches or stains.

Photographs may be
scanned and emailed or
posted in printed form for us to scan. A word of caution
- the better the scan, the better the result. We can
then email or supply the retouched digital image on
disk or alternatively print the image and return to
you by post.
How do I order a service?
Ordering is simple - all you have
to do is email the image/images that you wish to have
modified to retouch@sigga.net along
with a description of the work you would like to have
carried out.
We will then email a watermarked
proof and if you are happy with the work we can take
payment by PayPal and
send you your originals and the watermark-free images.
SiGGA Design Ltd. can accept no
responsibility for loss or damaged photos due to posting. |
